There are two main reasons why I would like you to share your recipes.  The first is that many of us are still new to baking in our fantastic wooden boxes and if you have recipes that you have tried and tested that you would like to share with other keen box bakers, then please email or post them to us and we will credit you with them.

 

Secondly, I think that family recipes are being lost on a very rapid scale now.  Many people don't have time to spend baking traditionally.  Family recipes that have been passed on down through generations and between family members are disappearing.  If you would like us to publish the recipe with a family anecdote or reasons why it is special to you, then please let us know and we will put them on our site.  We would like to know the general age of the recipe and whether or not it has a significant regional quality.  All recipes tend to vary from place to place and even between family members so it is nice to know why.
